Ridgewalk & Run : event information

Walk & Run Registration:

Registration will be at the Wellsville Campus of Alfred State College on S. Brooklyn Ave. Look for SUNY Wellsville signage. Please check-in during the times shown on the walks / runs page.

Buses will be provided from Registration / Bag Pick-up to your starting point.

Transportation:

• All events, except the 2 mile walk, have a common finish line.
• A bus will be waiting at the end of that event to transport participants to the Finish Line Arena.
• Buses will be leaving the Finish Line Arena periodically to take participants back to Registration Bag Pick-up at Wellsville Campus ASC.
• Only participants may ride the buses to starting points.

Drop Bags:

All participants are urged to bring dry clothing, socks and shoes. You most likely will get wet on any of the trail walks. A drop bag labeled with your number will be given to you at the registration desk and transported to the Finish Line Arena.

Prizes & Awards:

5K and 10K Run

• First place overall male and female receive medal and award
• First place male and female in each age group receive an award

14 Mile Trail Run

• First place male and female overall finisher receive medal and award
• First male and female in each age category receive a medal

Door Prizes:

All participants are eligible for door prizes!

Jones Memorial Hospital Finish Line Arena:

Bigger and better than ever! A large festival tent featuring plenty of refreshments and a festive atmosphere and GREAT ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN await you at Big Hill Farm on Regan Road.

Acoustic music, photo and art displays, wine tasting, cheese, candles, and sweets. Ridgewalk clothing available for purchase!

Getting to the Ridgewalk & Run:

 driving directions to event - you will leave our site for this information.

From points North:

• Take Rt. 19 south to the Rt. 417 intersection or 390 south to Rt. 17 west
• Take exit 30 to Wellsville (12 miles)

From points East or West:

• Take Rt. 417 to the intersection of Rt. 19, or Rt. 17 to Exit 30 to Wellsville
